Thermal Transfer Ribbons. Wax, Wax-Resin & Resin
A thermal transfer ribbon is the ink carrier used by barcode printers to print on labels. There are three types. Wax (economical, for paper), wax-resin (durable, for coated paper and PP), and resin (maximum durability, for synthetics and wash care). Moon Traders supplies all three in 40–110mm widths and 74m/300m/450m lengths for Zebra, TSC, Godex, and Citizen printers across Pakistan.

Which ribbon type should I buy?
Wax for paper labels indoors (cheapest), wax-resin for coated paper and PP labels that face handling or moisture, resin for PET/PVC and garment wash care labels that must survive chemicals, heat, or washing.
What ribbon length fits my printer?
74m ribbons (0.5" core) fit Zebra desktop printers like ZD220/ZD420/GK420. 300m ribbons (1" core) fit TSC, Godex, Citizen, and industrial Zebra models. 450m suits high-volume industrial printers.
Ink-in or ink-out winding?
It depends on the printer: most TSC/Godex models take ink-out, Zebra desktop takes ink-out, some Citizen/Datamax take ink-in. Tell us your printer model and we supply the correct winding.
How do I know the ribbon width to order?
Ribbon should be as wide as or up to 5–10mm wider than your label web (backing paper width). Example: 38x28 2-up web is ~80mm → use 90mm ribbon.
